Although, none of the actions from Ofsted have come as a surprise, the result is a great opportunity for change.
SEND Voices Wokingham believe that there are many positives to come out of the Ofsted inspection; one of which is the firm commitment to working with us as a forum and the local SEND families to improve services across from the WBC and Health. This commitment will enable our SEND experiences to shape the future.
We are delighted that SEND Voices Wokingham will also be a member of the Local Area SEND Board and will work with the Council, Health and an Ofsted Representative to develop the Written Statement of Action and a plan to deliver the necessary improvements.
Of course, we will also be working closely with all our members and other SEND families to ensure that the voice of children and their families is heard, and that the plans are fit for purpose.
